EU Project

UAB Nanobitas, together with UAB Emobotix, is implementing the project “Development of a New High Value-Added Product by UAB Emobotix, Enabling Researchers to Participate in the Company’s Research and Experimental Development Activities”
UAB Nanobitas, together with the project promoter UAB Emobotix, is launching an ambitious initiative – the creation of a world-class innovative robotic assistant capable of understanding and responding to human emotions. By employing state-of-the-art affective computing technologies and artificial intelligence, this robot will be able to recognize emotions in real time from human facial expressions and voice, and naturally adapt to the user’s mood and needs.
The project’s solutions will allow the robot to become an effective social partner in various fields – from education and customer service to therapy and the entertainment industry. The emotionally comfortable environments created by this unique robot will encourage user engagement, reduce stress, and improve people’s everyday interaction with technology. The robotic assistant will integrate gamification elements that promote interactive communication and increase user motivation. Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms and embedded movement scenarios will ensure smooth, human-like interaction.
The UAB Emobotix project represents a step into the future, where technology will be empathetic to human needs. UAB Nanobitas is participating in the project as a partner.
The project is being implemented under the 2022–2030 Development Program of the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, within the Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-05-07 “Establish a Coherent System for Promoting Innovation Activities”, Activity “Promote the Attraction of Foreign Direct Investment in Research and Experimental Development” (Central and Western Lithuania).
The total budget amounts to EUR 886,656, of which EUR 531,993 is funded by the EU.
The project is co-financed by the European Union. The project started on February 5, 2025, and will be implemented until February 5, 2028.
